Hello, Rhino-Rack.

A proposed logo journey.
I've always been a fan of Rhino-Rack. I’ve had a Rhino-Rack on every vehicle I’ve owned starting with my first vehicle, a ‘96 VW Jetta, to my current one; the Tacoma you see above. I love the brand’s Aussie grit and commitment to protecting nature. That being said, I’m a designer that specializes in brand identity and logo design. I’ve got 10 years experience and have won over 30 national awards for my design work. It’s my passion and I can’t help but look at things with a discerning eye.
I thought your Rhino mascot could use a tune-up. I took a stab at it and you can see the results below. The goal was to simplify, inject some personality and modernize yet maintain the overall composition and familiarity consumers are used to. I also wanted to make sure the mascot could be used on products that required engraving, cutting and stamping into metal. Take a look below.
Cheers!
Josh
