Here we grow.
Yakima Chief Hops farms and grows American hops in the Pacific Northwest. They are a 100% grower-owned global supplier of premium quality hops . When the Craft Brewers Conference descended upon Denver, Yakima Chief Hops wanted to host a party in town to honor and celebrate barley and hop growers from across the nation. They reached out to me as local artist to create the look for the campaign.

“Take a walk around downtown Denver’s Capitol Hill district and you will see statues dedicated to all kinds of historic characters, heroes, and pioneers of that have had an impact on what was once the wild west and is now Denver. When I was asked to illustrate the art to promote this event I wanted to create something that represented our history. A lot of these statues are adorned with bison skulls. I thought it was an interesting and unique symbol to use as a decorative element.”
